Ivan Katalinić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Priidik Room, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Priidik Room in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Katalinić saved GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ from getting behind. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Viktor Ostoić was slow to take the kick. During this time NK OSIJEK's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Dominik Klaus advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 9th minute. Zachary Parzysz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matko Gortan made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Zachary Parzysz sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Katalinić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Klaus's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Priidik Room's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Katalinić was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. If Luka Jović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ made a substitution. Arijan Zlatarević replaced Ninoslav Stipanić. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zachary Parzysz to make the kick off. Zachary Parzysz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matko Gortan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Zachary Parzysz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matko Gortan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Stanislav Miškić was substituted for Lino Budimir. A hard shot 61 in the game by Priidik Room from a close distance when the talented Ivan Katalinić managed to make a qualified save. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s players were relieved. After taking down the ball on NK OSIJEK's corner Viktor Ostoić fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Katalinić quite easily take care of the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Jan Rus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK OSIJEK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ the free kick. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NK OSIJEK! NK OSIJEK made a substitution. Erik Kalember replaced Andrej Nikolić. If Zachary Parzysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matko Gortan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Parzysz in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Parzysz in the 75th minute of play forced NK OSIJEK's goalkeeper Matko Gortan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Arsen Herceg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachary Parzysz in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matko Gortan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arijan Zlatarević's late challenge caught a NK OSIJEK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arijan Zlatarević helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arijan Zlatarević hit a great ball. NK OSIJEK made a substitution. Stjepko Ledenko replaced Camillo Pollastrini. In the 98th match minute, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimir Vrebac to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ could leave the field as winners, despite NK OSIJEK having more of the ball for most of the match.
