The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Lazar Lokas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladan Zafranović. Buševec NK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lazar Lokas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 24 minutes, Zrinko Vračić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HNK Lika and the Buševec NK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Buševec NK booed when HNK Lika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zrinko Vračić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buševec NK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
