The Apriano Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Apriano Juniors's Držimir Baletić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Zaostrog's zone, Držimir Baletić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Tomčić came out of the goal and Držimir Baletić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mladen Asanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomo Ivković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zaostrog fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Zaostrog's Rikard Tomčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jadran Dominković in the 32nd minute of play. Rikard Tomčić made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Držimir Baletić sent off a good shot on target. Apriano Juniors's Držimir Baletić got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Držimir Baletić got free with Rikard Tomčić in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jadran Dominković scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rikard Tomčić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rikard Tomčić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jadran Dominković, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Apriano Juniors's Držimir Baletić got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When Apriano Juniors's Držimir Baletić in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zaostrog's goalie prevented a goal. After 53 minutes, Držimir Baletić made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zaostrog's Rikard Tomčić tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Držimir Baletić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Držimir Baletić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rikard Tomčić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Držimir Baletić struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rikard Tomčić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apriano Juniors. The audience was convinced that Jadran Dominković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rikard Tomčić was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Zaostrog's Rikard Tomčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Držimir Baletić in the 63rd minute of play. Držimir Baletić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rikard Tomčić having to make a save. If Držimir Baletić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Zaostrog got a freekick which was hit by Tomo Ivković. 78 minutes into the game, Apriano Juniors's Držimir Baletić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rikard Tomčić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ognjen Benkotić during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Ognjen Benkotić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikard Tomčić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Držimir Baletić in the 83rd minute of the match. Jadran Dominković took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rikard Tomčić. After taking down the ball on Apriano Juniors's corner Jadran Dominković fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rikard Tomčić quite easily take care of the ball. Apriano Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jadran Dominković in the 91st minute. Držimir Baletić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rikard Tomčić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Držimir Baletić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apriano Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Držimir Baletić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Apriano Juniors fully deserved thier win.
