The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 6 minutes on the clock, Borna Šalov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. SINOVI NOĆI's Nikola Baburica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Mineață in the 9th minute of play. Gradimir Palković kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Nikola Baburica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrija Kolarević in the 16th minute of the match. Mislav Oršić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Mato Galić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emil Molnar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Mile Letina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SINOVI NOĆI's Nikola Baburica. Nikola Baburica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the game, NK SKRETNIČAR's Andrija Kolarević nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikola Baburica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. SINOVI NOĆI's Nikola Baburica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Ćesić in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to NK SKRETNIČAR getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Andrija Kolarević hit a great ball. Nikola Baburica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Molnar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Nikola Baburica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Molnar went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Molnar made a kick off. Nikola Baburica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Molnar, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 57 minutes into the game, Andrija Kolarević threw the ball into play from the sideline. SINOVI NOĆI's Gradimir Palković quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 59 minutes into the match, SINOVI NOĆI's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Molnar came free, but Nikola Baburica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Teodor Ćesić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Nikola Baburica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrija Kolarević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikola Baburica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, SINOVI NOĆI's goalkeeper Nikola Baburica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Ćesić. With his leg Nikola Baburica managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when NK SKRETNIČAR's Teodor Ćesić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nikola Baburica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Molnar, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Ćesić in the 72nd minute of play forced SINOVI NOĆI's goalkeeper Nikola Baburica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SINOVI NOĆI defense, Emil Molnar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikola Baburica. Rade Knezović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Rade Knezović's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nikola Baburica firmly grabbed it by the left post. NK SKRETNIČAR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
