After some careless play in the Buševec NK defense, Batıray Orus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladan Zafranović. The Buševec NK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladan Zafranović should have stopped the shot. NK Ribar Rab's Borislav Paljar suffered a sore thigh after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dušan Lekić during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dušan Lekić hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ivan Krile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krunoslav Ivašić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Carter Como shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladan Zafranović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute NK Ribar Rab were awarded a corner. Dalibor Rajšić went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Frano Jandrečić heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 25th minute, Frano Jandrečić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladan Zafranović was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 32nd match minute, NK Ribar Rab was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frano Jandrečić to maneuver through the defense. Carter Como struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Vladan Zafranović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Ribar Rab. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Batıray Orus put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vladan Zafranović. Adrijan Gvozdić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carter Como to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Como in the 51st minute of play forced Buševec NK's goalkeeper Vladan Zafranović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NK Ribar Rab's Klement Šuvak got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Buševec NK's Adrijan Gvozdić got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes NK Ribar Rab got a freekick which was hit by Miodrag Gvozdić. 58 minutes into the match, Carter Como had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladan Zafranović. Buševec NK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carter Como was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Vladan Zafranović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Como, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Mirko Pogorelić charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mirko Pogorelić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Buševec NK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Mirko Pogorelić hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Batıray Orus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NK Ribar Rab fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. NK Ribar Rab made a substitution. Šime Gudim replaced Batıray Orus. Mihovil Korbar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vladan Zafranović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NK Ribar Rab's attentive Miodrag Gvozdić managed to snatch the ball when Natko Andal made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Davor Kepeski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladan Zafranović having to interfere. Vladan Zafranović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miodrag Gvozdić in the 90th minute of the match. Mirko Pogorelić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ivan Krile made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Šime Gudim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NK Ribar Rab fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0.
