Snješko Brnardić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blaž Telesmanić in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Tito Minić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, DINAMO's Petar Luburić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Snješko Brnardić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Petar Luburić put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Snješko Brnardić. In the 23rd minute Mauro Šaškin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Snješko Brnardić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaž Telesmanić got free with Snješko Brnardić in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Snješko Brnardić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petar Luburić in the 27th minute of play. HNK Lika's Snješko Brnardić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save HNK Lika from getting a goal against them. Dennis Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tito Minić in the 30th minute of the match. Snješko Brnardić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petar Luburić in the 32nd minute of play. Slavko Branković kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Snješko Brnardić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Šaškin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Snješko Brnardić made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gervasio Kemen sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes of play, HNK Lika's Slavko Branković made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Lindberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the game, Petar Luburić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Snješko Brnardić. Petar Luburić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. HNK Lika's Snješko Brnardić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Kemen in the 45th minute of play. Snješko Brnardić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Šaškin went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petar Luburić was the one to do the kick off. Snješko Brnardić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to HNK Lika getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tito Minić hit a great ball. When DINAMO's Gervasio Kemen in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HNK Lika's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the game, Petar Luburić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Snješko Brnardić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 played minutes HNK Lika got a freekick which was hit by Tito Minić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaž Telesmanić in the 64th minute of play forced HNK Lika's goalkeeper Snješko Brnardić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, HNK Lika's goal looked a bit too open when Blaž Telesmanić came free, but Snješko Brnardić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Petar Luburić managed to get in a good position for a shot. DINAMO's supporters rose to their feet, but Petar Luburić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Snješko Brnardić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Brozović in the 66th minute of play forced HNK Lika's goalkeeper Snješko Brnardić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, DINAMO's Blaž Telesmanić made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Snješko Brnardić was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Mauro Šaškin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Snješko Brnardić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Dražen Trajčević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mauro Šaškin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Vlaho Vrlec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DINAMO's Petar Luburić couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for HNK Lika. Snješko Brnardić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blaž Telesmanić went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Tito Minić kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Blaž Telesmanić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DINAMO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. Gervasio Kemen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DINAMO fully deserved thier win.
