Rikard Tomčić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Martin Guriță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rikard Tomčić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to SINOVI NOĆI getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arsen Dautbegović hit a great ball. Alfred Bilušić struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Nikola Baburica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zaostrog. After 20 played minutes, Zaostrog's Alfred Bilušić shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nikola Baburica came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zaostrog reached it. After having played for 22 minutes, Mislav Oršić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SINOVI NOĆI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mislav Oršić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zaostrog's Rikard Tomčić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Zaostrog from getting a goal against them. When Martin Guriță came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SINOVI NOĆI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Guriță couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, SINOVI NOĆI's Borna Šalov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Borna Šalov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SINOVI NOĆI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Borna Šalov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 32nd minute, Borna Šalov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radoslav Hajni charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radoslav Hajni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radoslav Hajni kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Radoslav Hajni was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 39th minute, Radoslav Hajni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mislav Oršić was the one to do the kick off. Rikard Tomčić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mislav Oršić, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Josip Cikatić took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikola Baburica. Nikola Baburica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Rikard Tomčić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mislav Oršić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josip Cikatić struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Nikola Baburica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zaostrog. Zaostrog's Rikard Tomčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mislav Oršić in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Zaostrog's Josip Cikatić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikola Baburica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Zaostrog getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Vid Jauk hit a great ball. If Mislav Oršić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mislav Oršić succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Josip Cikatić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Baburica having to interfere. Rikard Tomčić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mislav Oršić, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Nikola Baburica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josip Cikatić in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that SINOVI NOĆI were the better team. SINOVI NOĆI's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
