Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 186) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Većeslav Mahalec kicked off to start the match. NK SKRETNIČAR's Mato Galić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save NK SKRETNIČAR from getting a goal against them. Angelo Feldman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mato Galić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Bogdan Mineață hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Većeslav Mahalec came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Tordinci Zrinski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Većeslav Mahalec couldn't finish the play. Većeslav Mahalec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, Mario Puljić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodor Ćesić scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jasenko Sabol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Tordinci Zrinski's Većeslav Mahalec slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mato Galić. That made the score 1-1 after 38 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Ćesić in the 41st minute of play forced Tordinci Zrinski's goalkeeper Jasenko Sabol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tordinci Zrinski's Vanja Stančić got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Jasenko Modrah was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Molnar to make the kick off. Jasenko Sabol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Molnar in the 54th minute of the match. Leopold Mušura charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopold Mušura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tordinci Zrinski's Mislav Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, NK SKRETNIČAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrija Kolarević to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK SKRETNIČAR's goalkeeper Mato Galić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. NK SKRETNIČAR's Mato Galić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Većeslav Mahalec in the 70th minute of play. Većeslav Mahalec might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mato Galić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Većeslav Mahalec ran back to his position shaking his head. Mato Galić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Većeslav Mahalec, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, NK SKRETNIČAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mislav Krbavac to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Većeslav Mahalec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mato Galić skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Tordinci Zrinski defense, Mile Letina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasenko Sabol. The Tordinci Zrinski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasenko Sabol should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Tordinci Zrinski getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Vanja Stančić hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, NK SKRETNIČAR's Jasenko Modrah tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in NK SKRETNIČAR's zone, Mislav Prata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mato Galić came out of the goal and Mislav Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Feldman struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mato Galić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tordinci Zrinski. After having played for 89 minutes, Većeslav Mahalec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tordinci Zrinski's supporters crossed their fingers, but Većeslav Mahalec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jasenko Sabol made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mile Letina sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over NK SKRETNIČAR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tordinci Zrinski throughout the match.
