Jura Petrović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanimir Zorić in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vanja Basarić in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jura Petrović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Leopold Ambauen fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nk Pregrada's protests and gave Leopold Ambauen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Nk Pregrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Ambauen to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nk Pregrada's goalkeeper Natko Stiplošek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vanja Basarić in the 25th minute of play forced Stampedo's goalkeeper Jura Petrović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Stampedo's goal looked a bit too open when Vanja Basarić came free, but Jura Petrović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lovro Galinec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Vanja Basarić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jura Petrović was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vanja Basarić in the 46th minute of play forced Stampedo's goalkeeper Jura Petrović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vanja Basarić to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Vanja Basarić tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jura Petrović saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vanja Basarić got free with Jura Petrović in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stampedo's Jura Petrović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Stampedo from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Stampedo's Ozren Brlečić got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jura Petrović was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Vanja Basarić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vanja Basarić really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Vanja Basarić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nk Pregrada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vanja Basarić in the 83rd minute. The corner led Nk Pregrada's Aleksandar Marcelić to fire away a dangerous shot which Jura Petrović despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 84th minute, Aleksandar Marcelić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jura Petrović was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jura Petrović made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Kjell-Arne Kalfhage sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes, Vanja Basarić made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Stampedo's Jura Petrović tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Nk Pregrada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stampedo throughout the match.
