In the 4th minute, Bojan Paljar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Snješko Brnardić was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Ognjen Benkotić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zaostrog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HNK Lika the free kick. After 7 played minutes Zaostrog got a freekick which was hit by Ognjen Benkotić. 10 minutes into the match, HNK Lika's goalkeeper Snješko Brnardić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bojan Paljar. HNK Lika's Snješko Brnardić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedjeljko Roginek in the 12th minute of play. Ostoja Ortner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Tomčić having to interfere. In the 18th minute Lazar Lokas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikard Tomčić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slavko Branković struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rikard Tomčić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HNK Lika. Bojan Paljar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Snješko Brnardić firmly grabbed it by the left post. 25 minutes into the match, HNK Lika's goalkeeper Snješko Brnardić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bojan Paljar. Josip Cikatić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Snješko Brnardić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Ostoja Ortner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Zaostrog got a freekick which was hit by Vid Jauk. Lazar Lokas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rikard Tomčić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Tito Minić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikard Tomčić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ognjen Benkotić was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 41 played minutes Zaostrog got a freekick which was hit by Ognjen Benkotić. In the 44th minute, Bojan Paljar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Snješko Brnardić was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Zaostrog's Krsto Hrnjkas got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bojan Paljar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Bojan Paljar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Snješko Brnardić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute, Tito Minić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rikard Tomčić was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Lazar Lokas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ostoja Ortner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 70th playminute. Damir Briški hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Zrinko Vračić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rikard Tomčić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Lazar Lokas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HNK Lika's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lazar Lokas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ostoja Ortner got free with Rikard Tomčić in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slavko Branković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The HNK Lika fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when HNK Lika's Ostoja Ortner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tito Minić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rikard Tomčić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, HNK Lika's Tito Minić got a free kick in the 95th minute.
