After having played for 15 minutes, Faustin Ritter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sucker Punch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustin Ritter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucien Lacrampe kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Bruno Boinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mathias Langevin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Nigon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Langevin having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Bruno Boinet made a precise shot to the right of Mathias Langevin. Sucker Punch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Xavier Nigon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathias Langevin. Sucker Punch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavier Nigon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Tavernes booed when Sucker Punch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Montier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Langevin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Nigon, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustin Ritter was the one to do the kick off. Xavier Nigon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias Langevin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Montier during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Tavernes's zone, Reynald Moulinet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Gaulin came out of the goal and Reynald Moulinet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynald Moulinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Karim Gaulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Langevin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Boinet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Nigon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Langevin having to interfere. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Sucker Punch. Hippolyte Queste stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Karim Gaulin. 2-2. In the 87th match minute, Tavernes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucien Lacrampe to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Nigon in the 90th minute of play forced Sucker Punch's goalkeeper Mathias Langevin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Boinet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mathias Langevin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
