Fabian Guionnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Bouyer in the 6th minute of the match. Hakim Cossard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean-Marc Jegu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurent Richez in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hakim Cossard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jean-Marc Jegu. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. When Robin Bouyer fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored as chadenac's protests and gave Robin Bouyer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pompeyasd booed when as chadenac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Bouyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pompeyasd's Yoann Gantier got a free kick in the 24th minute. Pompeyasd's Hakim Cossard suffered a fractured collar bone after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Gilles Baty fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored as chadenac's protests and gave Gilles Baty a yellow card for diving instead. Pompeyasd made a substitution. Igor Vauchel replaced Hakim Cossard. Hervé Jarrier charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hervé Jarrier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hervé Jarrier hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Achille Tahon missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 36 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Fabian Guionnet right hand side. Jean-Marc Jegu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yoann Gantier. In the 45th minute of the match Joe Hurel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Marc Jegu skillfully saved the ball. Jean-Marc Jegu was a little too slow when Igor Vauchel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Bouyer to strike the kick off in the second half. Laurent Richez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Marc Jegu having to make a save. In the 56th minute, Gilles Baty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yoann Lépicier came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Pompeyasd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yoann Lépicier couldn't finish the play. If Igor Vauchel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pompeyasd's Laurent Richez got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Vauchel took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Marc Jegu. Jean-Marc Jegu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Pompeyasd's Igor Vauchel got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pompeyasd booed when as chadenac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Tahon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pompeyasd's Fabian Guionnet got control of the ball when Roger Thorin tried to sneak it across the goal line. René Christiaens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jean-Marc Jegu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Yoann Lépicier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Marc Jegu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. René Christiaens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jean-Marc Jegu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Vauchel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th match minute, Pompeyasd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurent Richez to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Pompeyasd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
