Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gildas Charneau took the kick off in the first half of the match. Douai's Marcel Delaforge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Douai from getting a goal against them. After 9 minutes of play, Val-de-Marne's Kevan Coquelin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Delaforge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gildas Charneau in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthieu Bardot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Bastien Bourdel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douai's Gildas Charneau got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matthieu Bardot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildas Charneau in the 20th minute of the match. If Bastien Bourdel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Douai's Gildas Charneau in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Val-de-Marne's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Douai booed when Val-de-Marne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Majorel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gildas Charneau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthieu Bardot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Val-de-Marne's Luka Martinelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Matthieu Bardot came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Douai's Gildas Charneau. But to his dismay, Gildas Charneau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gildas Charneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthieu Bardot having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildas Charneau in the 41st minute of play forced Val-de-Marne's goalkeeper Matthieu Bardot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthieu Bardot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildas Charneau in the 42nd minute of the match. Marcel Delaforge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Brayer in the 44th minute of the match. Clem Delamotte kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Gildas Charneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Douai's Gildas Charneau got a free kick in the 58th minute. Matthieu Bardot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildas Charneau in the 60th minute. Bastien Bourdel might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthieu Bardot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bastien Bourdel ran back to his position shaking his head. Bastien Bourdel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emmanuel Pinto scored 3-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Delaforge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Douai's Gildas Charneau got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildas Charneau got free with Matthieu Bardot in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute Douai were awarded a corner. Adam Isidore went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Ethan Pilon heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Marcel Delaforge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Pinto in the 87th minute of the match. If Gildas Charneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Val-de-Marne players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
