The Magpies's William Guillaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Sarmento in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Geovânio Sarmento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of William Guillaud, 1-1. William Guillaud came out of the goal and Geovânio Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, ASLT's Nicolas Drapier got control of the ball when Carl Saudrais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Drapier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ewan Guèdes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ewan Guèdes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nicolas Drapier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ewan Guèdes in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yann Dinet in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Nicolas Drapier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, ASLT's Yann Dinet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Guillaud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ASLT fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when ASLT's Yann Dinet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Geovânio Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Guillaud having to interfere. The Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yann Dinet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. ASLT's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
