Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Denis Grelier got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Florent Vivien had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grégory Lefort. Coudray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florent Vivien was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Grégory Lefort didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florent Vivien went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Coudray's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marie Maille came free, but Grégory Lefort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Florent Vivien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Grégory Lefort was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Noël Camilleri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patxi Genet in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Florent Vivien made a precise shot to the right of Grégory Lefort. Coudray's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 28th minute, Denis Grelier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Grelier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Coudray's Denis Grelier in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beuvry's goalie prevented a goal. Grégory Lefort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florent Vivien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beuvry's Noël Camilleri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Grelier in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Beuvry's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Grelier came free, but Noël Camilleri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patxi Genet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noël Camilleri having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean-Marie Maille to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Grelier hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Denis Grelier put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Noël Camilleri. Martial Rabiller charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martial Rabiller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joël Folcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grégory Lefort made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florent Vivien in the 67th minute. If Joël Folcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Denis Grelier put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Noël Camilleri. Florent Vivien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Grégory Lefort made a huge save. Coudray's Denis Grelier got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Denis Grelier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noël Camilleri. Beuvry's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Grelier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. After 82 played minutes Beuvry got a freekick which was hit by Bob Bonvallet. After 83 played minutes Coudray got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Olivieri. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Grelier in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noël Camilleri saved Beuvry from getting behind. Denis Grelier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Noël Camilleri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gabin Mellier came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Coudray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabin Mellier couldn't finish the play. Noël Camilleri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joël Folcher in the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Beuvry booed when Coudray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Valdenaire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Pierre-Louis Bihan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grégory Lefort showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute Jean-Marie Maille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grégory Lefort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Beuvry supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Beuvry would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
