Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Laurent Delin got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Agincourt's zone, Jean-Charles Blind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faudel Bernal came out of the goal and Jean-Charles Blind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Théophile Millien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Agincourt booed when Recueil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Charles Blind didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christophe Carrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurent Delin in the 21st minute of play. Darren Méziane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Christophe Carrey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantin Marche might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faudel Bernal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin Marche ran back to his position shaking his head. Théophile Millien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 minutes of play, Agincourt's Laurent Delin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christophe Carrey was left in no man's land by his defense there!
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Théophile Millien to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Laurent Delin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Carrey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurent Delin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Christophe Carrey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Recueil got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Marche. Agincourt's Mamadou Hermant couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Recueil. Laurent Delin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Carrey having to interfere. Recueil's Christophe Carrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurent Delin in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Laurent Delin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christophe Carrey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Constantin Marche charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Marche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Recueil got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Marche. A collision led to Recueil getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jean-Charles Blind hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurent Delin during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Agincourt got a freekick which was hit by Laurent Delin. In the 72nd minute, Darren Méziane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Agincourt's zone, Constantin Marche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Agincourt supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Agincourt would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
