Jérôme Denos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jack Marlin fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The Quennaumont fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Quennaumont's Tommy Pennec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Germain Pinna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paul-Émile Gallot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Erwann Goudard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Paul-Émile Gallot in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Moigné's Germain Pinna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alix Tillet in the 43rd minute of play. Germain Pinna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alix Tillet in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul-Émile Gallot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alix Tillet struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Germain Pinna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quennaumont. When Tommy Pennec, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 60 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Germain Pinna was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Quennaumont's Alix Tillet got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germain Pinna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alix Tillet in the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Pennec in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germain Pinna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germain Pinna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Pennec, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Germain Pinna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Pennec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Quennaumont were the better team. Quennaumont's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
