Emmanuel Mathevet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Orcel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Fanatics 88's Jimmy Orcel in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eaubonne's goalie prevented a goal. Jimmy Orcel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Mathevet having to interfere. Lucien Piat's late challenge caught a Fanatics 88's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryan Guérault hit a great ball. Franklin Ferlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emmanuel Mathevet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franklin Ferlin ran back to his position shaking his head. Jimmy Orcel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Emmanuel Mathevet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eaubonne's Ryan Guérault got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, Fanatics 88 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Orcel to maneuver through the defense. If Franklin Ferlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryan Guérault to strike the kick off in the second half. It was beautiful to see Eaubonne's Ryan Guérault in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ryan Guérault charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Guérault the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emmanuel Mathevet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Orcel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Mathevet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Ferlin in the 95th minute. Jimmy Orcel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fanatics 88 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
