With a little luck, Gergaudière's Mohamed-Ali Lartigue got control of the ball when Georges Lengrand tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Dave Sery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Greg Crochet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Dave Sery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Georges Lengrand notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gergaudière's Mohamed-Ali Lartigue. Mohamed-Ali Lartigue was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute, Tanguy Giraud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 60 minutes, Christophe Talleux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gergaudière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christophe Talleux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christophe Talleux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Crochet having to interfere. Dave Sery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Greg Crochet having to make a save. If Christophe Talleux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georges Lengrand took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohamed-Ali Lartigue. Mohamed-Ali Lartigue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Peymeinade were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gergaudière for a fine match.
