In the 15thth minute of the game César Marchant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kersalaun's Édouard Gamain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Édouard Gamain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Marchant in the 18th minute of the match. Anatole Descroix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Magne in the 20th minute of play. If Yann Riguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anatole Descroix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yann Riguet in the 30th minute. The corner led Kersalaun's Germain Larnicol to fire away a dangerous shot which Anatole Descroix despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Yann Riguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Olivier Bouille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, César Marchant notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kersalaun's Édouard Gamain. Édouard Gamain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Rudy Magne made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Édouard Gamain managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Elisabethville's César Marchant fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. César Marchant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Édouard Gamain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Elisabethville and the Kersalaun players grew even worse after the yellow card. Édouard Gamain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olivier Bouille's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Édouard Gamain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Bouille, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Olivier Bouille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Gamain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Elisabethville's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Magne came free, but Anatole Descroix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudy Magne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hamid Terrade was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Germain Larnicol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anatole Descroix. Elisabethville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. César Marchant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Édouard Gamain having to interfere. The Kersalaun fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Elisabethville were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
