The goalkeeper, Renan Poncelet, was totally fooled by REAL C.F's Bakary Potel, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to REAL C.F getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Omar Pétetin hit a great ball. Renan Poncelet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Vergnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Terry Vergnes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Nantes's Renan Poncelet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Noël Danger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Poncelet having to interfere.

The wind increased when Dominique Catherin made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Anthony Boitelle put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Renan Poncelet.
