Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norbert Jacquart took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Matheo Bouvry made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Tournie. Bordeaux Pl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Emeric Ducatel shot a long shot in the 13th minute and a light blocked Benjamin Tournie hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. Sacha Pasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Morgan Brouillet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tournie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bordeaux Pl getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Armand Guyot hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Matheo Bouvry fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benjamin Tournie, passed just outside the right post. Norbert Jacquart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorien Sarazin having to interfere. A collision led to Marquillies getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tristan Tassin hit a great ball. Victorien Sarazin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sacha Pasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Matheo Bouvry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheo Bouvry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benjamin Tournie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Rachid Morlet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Victorien Sarazin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morgan Brouillet to make the kick off. Matheo Bouvry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Benjamin Tournie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matheo Bouvry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Marquillies booed when Bordeaux Pl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Longueville didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Brouillet in the 74th minute of play forced Bordeaux Pl's goalkeeper Benjamin Tournie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorien Sarazin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Jacquart, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Matheo Bouvry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Tournie having to interfere. Morgan Brouillet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Benjamin Tournie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rachid Morlet struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Victorien Sarazin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bordeaux Pl. Sacha Pasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Victorien Sarazin made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marquillies had won after a very even match.
