Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cheikh Damas got the match started through his kick off. Jonas Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonas Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 8 minutes, Cheikh Damas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montady's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheikh Damas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes, Marvin Marescaux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melun and the Montady players grew even worse after the yellow card. Montady's William Rival couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Melun. In the 16th minute, Montady's Cheikh Damas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jérémy Alarcon. Jérémy Alarcon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With his leg Jérémy Alarcon managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Montady's Clovis Lafourcade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Melun's Jérémy Alarcon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheikh Damas in the 26th minute of play. Cheikh Damas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jérémy Alarcon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cheikh Damas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Montady's Nelson Cloarec got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Christophe Berthon in the 35th minute of play forced Montady's goalkeeper Cyril Augusto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Montady was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charly Métay to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Melun's Marvin Marescaux got a free kick in the 41st minute. Clovis Lafourcade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jérémy Alarcon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Cyril Augusto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Christophe Berthon in the 52nd minute of play. Jonas Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. William Rival kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Montady's Cyril Augusto got control of the ball when Jonas Frances tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Cheikh Damas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Melun's goal looked a bit too open when Clovis Lafourcade came free, but Jérémy Alarcon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louis Lanza hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Clovis Lafourcade struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Jérémy Alarcon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montady. When Jonas Frances came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Melun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Frances couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Montady's Clovis Lafourcade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jérémy Alarcon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Robin Clot's late challenge caught a Montady's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Clot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Robin Clot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Montady's Cheikh Damas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jérémy Alarcon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Melun's zone, Cheikh Damas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jérémy Alarcon came out of the goal and Cheikh Damas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Florent Joly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Montady players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
