Jordan Haller succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Saubens's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Marcou came free, but Darren Sale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, one of Saubens:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saubens. The Saubens players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PSG were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
