Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jordan Franchet got the match started through his kick off. If Jean-François Jouve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christophe Genet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Léon Cassagne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Marcel Pignard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rémi Jubert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Marin Tardif was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seysses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chécy the free kick. A collision led to Seysses getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Marin Tardif hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes Seysses got a freekick which was hit by Stéphane Delbos. If Christophe Genet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jordan Franchet took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rémi Jubert. Rémi Jubert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Léon Cassagne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-François Jouve's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Seysses's zone, Christophe Genet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léon Cassagne came out of the goal and Christophe Genet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-François Jouve stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christophe Genet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Pignard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Rémi Jubert made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, Chécy's Christophe Genet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léon Cassagne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Léon Cassagne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Genet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jean-François Jouve came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Chécy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-François Jouve couldn't finish the play. If Jean-François Jouve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Grison hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Seysses's Léon Cassagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-François Jouve in the 79th minute of play. Stéphane Delbos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jean-François Jouve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chécy's Jean-François Jouve in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seysses's goalie prevented a goal. After 86 minutes of play, Chécy's Christophe Genet made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Léon Cassagne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chécy's Christophe Genet got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stéphane Delbos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Chécy getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jean-François Jouve hit a great ball. Jean-François Jouve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léon Cassagne having to interfere. Chécy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
