FCBG Reserve's Kevan Bossard came free and shot a quick shot against goal 43 minutes in the game, fortunately Martial Delaroche had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 76 played minutes FCBG Reserve got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Molle. Martial Delaroche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevan Bossard in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, FCBG Reserve's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paul-Émile Lacaze fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in FCBG Reserve's zone, Paul-Émile Lacaze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmid Anglès came out of the goal and Paul-Émile Lacaze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Cergy FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FCBG Reserve:s goal. The referee gave FCBG Reserve a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joris Châtenet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cergy FC's Martial Delaroche. 2-0. Cergy FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
