Valentin Renaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Guyard having to interfere. Hubert Guyard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordy Verdun's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Durtol's Valentin Renaud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Guyard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul-Henri Allix kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Tours was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilian Tomasini to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Tony Soudan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durtol's Ramzi Feger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramzi Feger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tony Soudan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Anatole Lamalle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hubert Guyard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Durtol booed when Tours was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul-Henri Allix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes, Durtol's Vincent Violet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hubert Guyard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Durtol reached it. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Tony Soudan took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ramzi Feger to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Durtol's zone, Gauthier Geiger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramzi Feger came out of the goal and Gauthier Geiger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Durtol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Tony Soudan scored to the left of an out of position Ramzi Feger, making the score, 3-2. The supporters of Durtol booed when Tours was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevan Denys didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Soudan made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Tours got a freekick which was hit by Kevan Denys. In the 53rd minute of the match Vincent Violet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hubert Guyard skillfully saved the ball. If Valentin Renaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Soudan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzi Feger having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Tours's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Verdun came free, but Hubert Guyard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gauthier Geiger came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tours fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gauthier Geiger couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jordy Verdun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durtol's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordy Verdun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Guyard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Tony Soudan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramzi Feger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gauthier Geiger came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Tours fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gauthier Geiger couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Durtol's Kylian Pélissier got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Durtol's goalkeeper Ramzi Feger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gauthier Geiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzi Feger having to interfere. A collision led to Durtol getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bacary Planche hit a great ball. Kilian Tomasini was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tours fans cheered their team off the field, for while Durtol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
