After 4 minutes, Jean-Sébastien Boucher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Souchez and the Algrange players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Souchez:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Algrange:s goal. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Algrange. Didier Garric stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Clem Hebert. 0-1. A collision led to Souchez getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Flavien Nowicki hit a great ball. Flavien Nowicki scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Bourgouin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Algrange fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Algrange's Flavian Cardinal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Flavian Cardinal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavian Cardinal in the 21st minute of play forced Souchez's goalkeeper Clem Hebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Souchez's Noé Bouchereau got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Flavian Cardinal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clem Hebert was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When Anatole Guerrier came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Souchez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anatole Guerrier couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Algrange's goalkeeper Dan Bourgouin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anatole Guerrier. The audience was convinced that Ilan Basse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clem Hebert was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Flavian Cardinal charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavian Cardinal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flavian Cardinal hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A collision led to Algrange getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Didier Garric hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Algrange fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty!

When Anatole Guerrier came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Souchez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anatole Guerrier couldn't finish the play. 3-2 became the score in the 56th minute when Ewan Roman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Ilan Basse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algrange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilan Basse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Souchez fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Souchez's Anatole Guerrier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 68 minutes, Ewan Roman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Souchez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ewan Roman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ewan Roman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clem Hebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavian Cardinal in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Alphonse Gourlaouen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Algrange's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Souchez the free kick. The supporters of Souchez booed when Algrange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Gourlaouen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Bourgouin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ewan Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Algrange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Grosset to maneuver through the defense. Anatole Guerrier scored 5-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Bourgouin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anatole Guerrier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavian Cardinal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Clem Hebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Souchez's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
