Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Noël Rico got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Noël Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eckbolsheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noël Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Tim Beaufort cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jules Bréheret was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th match minute, Prenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Foulon to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Noël Rico had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Paul-Henri Champeau charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul-Henri Champeau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paul-Henri Champeau kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Fabrice Lheureux was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eckbolsheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prenay the free kick. Prenay's Diego Grossi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Brendan Caron but with some difficulty. Tim Beaufort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Bréheret having to interfere. Daryl Guilloton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Tim Beaufort left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eckbolsheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. John Clichy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brendan Caron having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Fabrice Lheureux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdel Lorre in the 46th minute of play forced Eckbolsheim's goalkeeper Brendan Caron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Prenay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eckbolsheim were winning 1-2.

If Tim Beaufort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Beaufort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Bréheret having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Prenay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tim Beaufort fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Tim Beaufort had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jules Bréheret. Prenay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Beaufort was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If John Clichy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdel Lorre in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brendan Caron saved Eckbolsheim from getting behind. When John Clichy came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Prenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Clichy couldn't finish the play. If John Clichy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Eckbolsheim's Michel Boissonnet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Michel Boissonnet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Eckbolsheim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Michel Boissonnet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 92nd minute, one of Eckbolsheim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eckbolsheim. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Eckbolsheim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
