Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Lomme's Matthieu Dube started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Matthieu Dube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zinedine Dumartin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilles Loustalot struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jacques Rocca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabriès. When Gilles Loustalot came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cabriès fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilles Loustalot couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Matthieu Dube put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zinedine Dumartin. Ignacio Bladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Zinedine Dumartin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, John-Paul Paineau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinedine Dumartin having to interfere. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Matthieu Dube sped through Cabriès's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zinedine Dumartin. In the 41stth minute of the game Ignacio Bladi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabriès's Zinedine Dumartin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cabriès's Zinedine Dumartin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthieu Dube in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Matthieu Dube cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Zinedine Dumartin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the game, Cabriès's Gilles Loustalot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacques Rocca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Malcom Coroller to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cabriès's René Le Bras got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 54 in the game by Matthieu Dube from a close distance when the talented Zinedine Dumartin managed to make a qualified save. Cabriès's players were relieved. Ignacio Bladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Zinedine Dumartin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Cabriès's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Bladi came free, but Zinedine Dumartin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zinedine Dumartin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthieu Dube went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Matthieu Dube had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zinedine Dumartin. Cabriès's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthieu Dube was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After having played for 79 minutes, Goyo Caceres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lomme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goyo Caceres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Cabriès getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Yannick Garin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthieu Dube in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zinedine Dumartin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Bladi in the 88th minute of play forced Cabriès's goalkeeper Zinedine Dumartin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zinedine Dumartin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Bladi in the 90th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Cabriès got a freekick which was hit by René Le Bras. The Cabriès fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lomme were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
