Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maxence Neveux took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dan Huart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxence Neveux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldersheim's Antoine Watier got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vendargues getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Malik Kieffer hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Baldersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Maxence Neveux came free, but Jean-Yves Hermant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri Agnel charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henri Agnel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camille Gounon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jean-Yves Hermant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anatole Lagoutte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Watier in the 20th minute of play. Camille Gounon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Yves Hermant having to interfere. Vendargues's Anatole Lagoutte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Huart in the 24th minute of play. Camille Gounon struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jean-Yves Hermant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vendargues. After a rather tough play, Baldersheim's Florentin Baumont got a free kick in the 36th minute. Camille Gounon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Yves Hermant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxence Neveux in the 41st minute of play forced Baldersheim's goalkeeper Jean-Yves Hermant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Huart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatole Lagoutte having to interfere.
The wind increased when Dan Huart made the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute, Baldersheim's Dan Huart ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anatole Lagoutte. Anatole Lagoutte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Camille Gounon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camille Gounon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean-Yves Hermant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Gounon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxence Neveux in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Yves Hermant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Vendargues booed when Baldersheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henri Agnel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxence Neveux struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jean-Yves Hermant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vendargues. When Maxence Neveux came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Vendargues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxence Neveux couldn't finish the play. If Dan Huart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
