The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Théodore Le Morvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the FC Manchester Swea defense, Théodore Le Morvan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthony Signoret. The FC Manchester Swea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthony Signoret should have stopped the shot. Jean-Cyrille Sanz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthony Signoret read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Robin Brahimi fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Manchester Swea's protests and gave Robin Brahimi a yellow card for diving instead. Robin Brahimi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Molin FC. 1-2 came through a penalty shot after 35 played minutes, when FC Manchester Swea:s Éthan Mandanda calmly waited for Molin FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Jean-Cyrille Sanz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthony Signoret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Cyrille Sanz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Maxime Lacassagne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Signoret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Cyrille Sanz made a kick off. Lenny Llorca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Girardot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Maxime Lacassagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Girardot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavian Pawlowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Molin FC's André Girardot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Llorca in the 90th minute of play. Molin FC's Jean-Cyrille Sanz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Girardot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Llorca in the 99th minute of the match.
