Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Faudel Gendreau got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Leon AFC booed when Pontet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarod Louchet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raoul Gaborit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliott Portier in the 11th minute of play. Henri Lengrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Pontet's goal looked a bit too open when Eliott Portier came free, but Raoul Gaborit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramzy Santamaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ghislain Guillin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Leon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Houzet. Henri Lengrand's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Raoul Gaborit skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliott Portier to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Leon AFC's Flavian Ruelle got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 61 in the game by Ramzy Santamaria from a close distance when the talented Ghislain Guillin managed to make a qualified save. Leon AFC's players were relieved. When François Allemand fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pontet's protests and gave François Allemand a yellow card for diving instead. François Allemand kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Henri Lengrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Pontet. Kévin Sylvain stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ghislain Guillin. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Henri Lengrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raoul Gaborit was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Jarod Louchet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henri Lengrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raoul Gaborit having to interfere. A collision led to Pontet getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jarod Louchet hit a great ball. Raoul Gaborit came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Leon AFC's Eliott Portier. But to his dismay, Eliott Portier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
