Rodrigue Malki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Houplin's Kamel Devillers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Houplin from getting a goal against them. After 13 played minutes Floirac got a freekick which was hit by Rayan Dhont. Brice Gravelle was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jordy Girardot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamel Devillers was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Floirac's Jordy Girardot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kamel Devillers. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigue Malki in the 27th minute of play forced Floirac's goalkeeper Teddy Miclo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rodrigue Malki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Houplin's goalkeeper Kamel Devillers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoine Gasquet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Page during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Allan Page hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Antoine Gasquet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Antoine Gasquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Floirac getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rayan Dhont hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Jordy Girardot made the kick off in the second half. Rodrigue Malki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teddy Miclo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Floirac's goalkeeper Teddy Miclo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendan Priol. Antoine Gasquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kamel Devillers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Floirac's Teddy Miclo got control of the ball when Brendan Priol tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jordy Girardot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Floirac's Teddy Miclo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigue Malki in the 85th minute of play. Antoine Gasquet took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kamel Devillers. Kamel Devillers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Brendan Priol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Houplin's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendan Priol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teddy Miclo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Houplin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
