Camille Norbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Terry Pinte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chavannex's Julien Receveur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Hercule Drouin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colomars's Darren Gabillet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Norbert in the 13th minute of play. Darren Gabillet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédéric Silvain in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Declerck in the 17th minute of play forced Colomars's goalkeeper Darren Gabillet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédéric Silvain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Tim Declerck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Ghislain Avon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tim Declerck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Chavannex's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 35 played minutes Colomars got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Sion. Colomars's Darren Gabillet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Declerck in the 36th minute of play. Frédéric Silvain's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Darren Gabillet firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tim Declerck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Darren Gabillet came out and tried to block the shot, but Tim Declerck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tim Declerck to strike the kick off in the second half. Frédéric Silvain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Frédéric Silvain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hercule Drouin's late challenge caught a Colomars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hercule Drouin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chavannex's Hercule Drouin got a free kick in the 60th minute. Terry Pinte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julien Receveur having to interfere. In the 67th minute Ghislain Avon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Receveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darren Gabillet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Declerck went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Chavannex's Julien Receveur got control of the ball when Terry Pinte tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78th play minutes Tim Declerck shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Darren Gabillet and just under the crossbar into goal. When Chavannex's Tim Declerck in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colomars's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Frédéric Silvain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chavannex's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédéric Silvain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darren Gabillet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Colomars's zone, Tim Declerck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darren Gabillet came out of the goal and Tim Declerck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frédéric Silvain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Chavannex players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
