In the 18th minute, Sallaumines's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dorian Sarda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mathias Raux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavien Bonamy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Louvil's Mathias Raux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mamadou Levasseur in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Clovis Cauchy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavien Bonamy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sallaumines booed when Louvil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noël Vandamme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mamadou Levasseur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mathias Raux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mamadou Levasseur in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Raux prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathias Raux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mamadou Levasseur, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Louvil getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Clovis Cauchy hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Louvil's goal looked a bit too open when Mamadou Levasseur came free, but Mathias Raux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorian Sarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Sarda in the 39th minute of play forced Sallaumines's goalkeeper Corentin Bressy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Louvil booed when Sallaumines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Pailler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Mamadou Levasseur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Raux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clovis Cauchy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorian Sarda to strike the kick off in the second half. Sallaumines were furious when Davy Richter was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 55th minute, one of Sallaumines:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sallaumines. Jean-Yves Dupeux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corentin Bressy having to interfere. Louvil's Mathias Raux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Louvil from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Flavien Bonamy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mathias Raux. The goal made the score 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Flavien Bonamy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sallaumines's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavien Bonamy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavien Bonamy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Raux having to interfere. Flavien Bonamy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mathias Raux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorian Sarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corentin Bressy having to interfere.
