The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavian Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Ganne in the 22nd minute of play. Ancoisne's Flavian Marquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ancoisne from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Prioul during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Steven Ganne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavian Marquez. The goal made the score 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vivien Bonnet made a kick off. Antonin Pourchet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Flavian Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ancoisne's Fabien Duclos got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steven Ganne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavian Marquez having to interfere. Fabien Duclos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Carvin getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jordy Bonneville hit a great ball. Ancoisne's Freddy Dubreuil shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nathanaël Croze but with some difficulty. 81 minutes into the match, Carvin's goal looked a bit too open when Vivien Bonnet came free, but Nathanaël Croze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Antonin Pourchet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Flavian Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 87 minutes, Antonin Pourchet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carvin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonin Pourchet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Carvin booed when Ancoisne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Jorge didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Carvin's Antonin Pourchet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavian Marquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carvin had played much better football throughout.
