Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Clin in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Maniere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Éric Mauduit got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The Longjumeau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Maniere should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jérôme Fallot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Narbonne's supporters rose to their feet, but Jérôme Fallot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Maniere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. John Vinet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Maniere having to interfere. Mario Clin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Maniere having to interfere. Mario Clin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Clin had several of the Longjumeau's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-7 score and a disappointed Freddy Maniere as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Mario Clin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Maniere was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Jérôme Fallot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddy Maniere. Jérôme Fallot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-8.
