Noyarey's Gilbert Bonnafous got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ewan Sage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Védrine in the 14th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Tristan Verdonck in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Trossy's Freddy Lechartier. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Noyarey's goalkeeper Hippolyte Gosselin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florent Brunner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Freddy Lechartier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes, Trossy's Roland Rivat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hippolyte Gosselin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trossy reached it. After a rather tough play, Noyarey's Nicolas Védrine got a free kick in the 65th minute.
