Spectators: 7163 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 5) Louis Chalopin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Emeric Rigollet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matthieu Zajac firmly grabbed it by the left post. Matthieu Zajac made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Emeric Rigollet sent off a good shot on target. When Samir Sène came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the CASAMANCE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samir Sène couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Chantenay booed when CASAMANCE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Sène didn't get a good kick on the ball. Louis Chalopin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Louis Chalopin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthieu Zajac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Bărbânță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Mathey in the 15th minute of the match. Aurel Bărbânță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samir Sène's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Yannick Cheminade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Théophile Aubel's late challenge caught a CASAMANCE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Théophile Aubel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Samir Sène got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chantenay's zone, Renan Mathey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurel Bărbânță came out of the goal and Renan Mathey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Samir Sène who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chantenay's Aurel Bărbânță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samir Sène to make the kick off. Samir Sène could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Aurel Bărbânță made a huge save. A collision led to Chantenay getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Louis Chalopin hit a great ball. CASAMANCE's Matthieu Zajac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Jeudy in the 57th minute of play. A hard shot 59 in the game by Samir Sène from a close distance when the talented Aurel Bărbânță managed to make a qualified save. Chantenay's players were relieved. Gildo Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samir Sènes short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Aurel Bărbânță to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 65 minutes into the match, Louis Chalopin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CASAMANCE's Matthieu Zajac. Matthieu Zajac was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aurel Bărbânță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yannick Cheminade, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chantenay's zone, Samir Sène stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurel Bărbânță came out of the goal and Samir Sène tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Samir Sène shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Bărbânță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Bărbânță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samir Sène in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Chantenay's goalkeeper Aurel Bărbânță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samir Sène. Aurel Bărbânță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Sène, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chantenay could leave the field as winners, despite CASAMANCE having more of the ball for most of the match.
