Just Pignolet came out of the goal and Kevan Borg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, Raphaël Castro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Arguel's Just Pignolet. Just Pignolet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernest Raffy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorien Gibier in the 8th minute. Ernest Raffy was a little too slow when Victorien Gibier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Arguel's Victorien Gibier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Raffy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arguel's Victorien Gibier got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Éloi Duquenne charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Éloi Duquenne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Arguel getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Éloi Duquenne hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Arguel's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Chaminade came free, but Just Pignolet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tranchepié's Alou Félix got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Igor Caillard sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ernest Raffy threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Igor Caillard this time. Éthan Brèthes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Just Pignolet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Just Pignolet had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Alou Félix's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Tranchepié's Éthan Brèthes in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arguel's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute Michel Chaminade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Just Pignolet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alou Félix hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Igor Caillard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernest Raffy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Michel Chaminade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Éthan Brèthes to make the kick off. If Michel Chaminade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Éthan Brèthes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Just Pignolet. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. A collision led to Arguel getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Simon Boulic hit a great ball. A hard shot by Alou Félix from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Just Pignolet's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Éthan Brèthes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Just Pignolet having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Éthan Brèthes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Just Pignolet. That made the score 1-3 in the 73 minute of play. Michel Chaminade took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Just Pignolet. Just Pignolet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When Michel Chaminade came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tranchepié fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Chaminade couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arguel's goalkeeper Just Pignolet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Jolan Guyomarch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Chaminade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Just Pignolet made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Éthan Brèthes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernest Raffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorien Gibier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Arguel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tranchepié were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
