Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Cyrille Quercy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jackson Torre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jackson Torre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Théodore Née, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, RACING CLUB DE LENS's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Cyrille Quercy came free, but Jackson Torre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stéphane Deleplanque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Antonin Bourez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Saint Malo's zone, Eugène Ribeyre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonin Bourez came out of the goal and Eugène Ribeyre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Saint Malo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Yoann Gravier hit a great ball. Antonin Bourez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Malik Boubet. Antonin Bourez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Thibaud in the 30th minute of the match. Stéphane Deleplanque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonin Bourez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. RACING CLUB DE LENS's Jackson Torre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Cyrille Quercy in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Augustin Thibaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the RACING CLUB DE LENS defense, Théodore Née kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jackson Torre. The RACING CLUB DE LENS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jackson Torre should have stopped the shot. When Augustin Thibaud fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RACING CLUB DE LENS's protests and gave Augustin Thibaud a yellow card for diving instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Cyrille Quercy couldn't finish the play. When Ahmid Corbière fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RACING CLUB DE LENS's protests and gave Ahmid Corbière a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmid Corbière hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. RACING CLUB DE LENS's Stéphane Deleplanque got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RACING CLUB DE LENS's Jackson Torre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Cyrille Quercy in the 65th minute of play. Antonin Bourez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stéphane Deleplanque in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Stéphane Deleplanque made a precise shot to the right of Antonin Bourez. FC Saint Malo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Stéphane Deleplanque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonin Bourez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stéphane Deleplanque's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Jackson Torre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Cyrille Quercy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Théodore Née sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Théodore Née got free with Jackson Torre in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Jean-Cyrille Quercy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmid Corbière hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
