In the 7th match minute, Wambrechies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Lardeau to maneuver through the defense. If Mickaël Tisserant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monpatour's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Achille Kraemer scored to the left of an out of position Élie Hauchard, making the score, 1-0. Mickaël Tisserant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Élie Hauchard having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achille Kraemer in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Élie Hauchard saved Monpatour from getting behind. Mickaël Tisserant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Élie Hauchard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monpatour's goalkeeper Élie Hauchard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Achille Kraemer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Monpatour's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Kraemer came free, but Élie Hauchard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, one of Monpatour:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Achille Kraemer made the kick off in the second half. Melvin Pouly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Monpatour's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Kraemer came free, but Élie Hauchard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Monpatour defense, Mickaël Tisserant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Élie Hauchard. The Monpatour fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Élie Hauchard should have stopped the shot. If Mickaël Tisserant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wambrechies's zone, Ryan Dève stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastien Frébourg came out of the goal and Ryan Dève tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melvin Pouly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 minutes, Edmond Dacheux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monpatour and the Wambrechies players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Monpatour got a freekick which was hit by Edmond Dacheux. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monpatour's goalkeeper Élie Hauchard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Élie Hauchard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickaël Tisserant in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Yohann Brisse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monpatour and the Wambrechies players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monpatour's Yohann Brisse got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Monpatour's zone, Mickaël Tisserant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Élie Hauchard came out of the goal and Mickaël Tisserant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melvin Pouly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bastien Frébourg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Melvin Pouly sped through Wambrechies's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bastien Frébourg. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wambrechies fans cheered their team off the field, for while Monpatour had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
