Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Oscar Guichard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Lavérune's Samuel Carrez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francis Mehl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Oscar Guichard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donovan Avrillon was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Jim Fleureau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Donovan Avrillon. Lavérune's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Steve Rideau sped through Lavérune's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donovan Avrillon. Oscar Guichard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donovan Avrillon having to make a save. A hard shot 23 in the game by Steve Rideau from a close distance when the talented Donovan Avrillon managed to make a qualified save. Lavérune's players were relieved. Francis Mehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges Péronne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve Rideau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Guichard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Donovan Avrillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donovan Avrillon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Trouillot in the 46th minute. Malik Descombes kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Oscar Guichard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donovan Avrillon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Lavérune's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Guichard came free, but Donovan Avrillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Lavérune's Samuel Carrez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francis Mehl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 66 played minutes Chappes got a freekick which was hit by Paul Trouillot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georges Péronne in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francis Mehl saved Chappes from getting behind. Chappes's Francis Mehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Péronne in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Chappes's goalkeeper Francis Mehl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Paulin. Joffrey Coquet hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Chappes's Ferdinand Barnabé tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Rideau in the 80th minute of play forced Lavérune's goalkeeper Donovan Avrillon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Karl Briatte notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Lavérune's Donovan Avrillon. Donovan Avrillon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oscar Guichard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Chappes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
