Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mustapha Lassagne got the match started through his kick off. Brice Corbière scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alou Coco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Pugey getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jean-Philippe Bosch hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Brice Corbière managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mathonex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brice Corbière was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Alfred Villenave recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alou Coco. Alfred Villenave showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Brice Corbière had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brice Corbière took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alou Coco. Alou Coco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Wilfried Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batiste Ardoin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Villenave to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Mustapha Lassagne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel Fauconnier. That made the score 3-1 in the 53 minute of play. Batiste Ardoin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Régis Hayet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mathonex's Brice Corbière in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pugey's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute Alfred Villenave shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alou Coco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pugey's Régis Hayet got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Régis Hayet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mathonex's Djibril Rodier got a free kick in the 70th minute. Alou Coco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Villenave, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Brice Corbière had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81st play minutes Brice Corbière shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Alou Coco and just under the crossbar into goal. 85 minutes into the match, Mathonex's Alfred Villenave sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alou Coco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Régis Hayet got free with Marcel Fauconnier in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brice Corbière hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Mustapha Lassagne was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Pugey's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mathonex were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pugey for a fine match.
