Thiant's Felix Tostain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evan Bedos in the 54th minute of play. Melvin Bézier charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melvin Bézier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Thiant booed when Avulligoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Bézier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th play minute Romaric Gimenez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Léopold Ducouret. 0-2. The nice shot from Romaric Gimenez in the 69thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Léopold Ducouret had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Thomas Chamard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Romaric Gimenez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Léopold Ducouret was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 88th minute, Mohamed-Ali Fossey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Thiant left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Avulligoz.
