Gilbert Brugere was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Bruce Munsch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruce Munsch really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Bruce Munsch might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Brugere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruce Munsch ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Mestre in the 29th minute of play forced Hagondange's goalkeeper Kevin Calmels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Munsch kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Rudy Mestre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kevin Calmels was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hagondange's Kevin Calmels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Mestre in the 36th minute of play. But to his dismay, Eliseo Perpinya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Freddy Huot scored 1-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Calmels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Mestre in the 47th minute of play forced Hagondange's goalkeeper Kevin Calmels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

With a little luck, Hagondange's Kevin Calmels got control of the ball when Rudy Mestre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Calmels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Bergström in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Saultain booed when Hagondange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Ardoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Lars-Erik Bergström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Calmels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hagondange's zone, Lars-Erik Bergström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Calmels came out of the goal and Lars-Erik Bergström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars-Erik Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kevin Calmels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Saultain left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hagondange.
