In the 27th minute Ange Boudier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Michalet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aubiac FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Ange Boudier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Aubiac FC's Jack Lignon made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Michalet was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ange Boudier came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Aubiac FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ange Boudier couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Ange Boudier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Michalet was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Ange Boudier came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Aubiac FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ange Boudier couldn't finish the play. Ange Boudier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Alfred Michalet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Wavrin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aubiac FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
