Raymond Le Bourhis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melvin Sophie in the 13th minute of play. Pioline's Basile Astie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Toullec in the 17th minute of play. Melvin Daguenet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Malcom Gourcuff charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malcom Gourcuff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Limay got a freekick which was hit by Malcom Gourcuff. If Melvin Daguenet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Melvin Sophie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pioline's supporters rose to their feet, but Melvin Sophie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymond Le Bourhis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Limay's Raymond Le Bourhis got control of the ball when Melvin Daguenet tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Limay's goal looked a bit too open when Melvin Sophie came free, but Raymond Le Bourhis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Toullec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymond Le Bourhis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melvin Sophie in the 67th minute of play. Léo Pause kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Basile Astie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcom Gourcuff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Limay getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Malcom Gourcuff hit a great ball. Melvin Sophie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Le Bourhis having to interfere. Ahmid Duault tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Raymond Le Bourhis. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 93rd minute. Pioline's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
