Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lenny Uguen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 5 minutes, Zinedine Cassin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annequin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zinedine Cassin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zinedine Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-François Louarn having to interfere. Zinedine Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paul-Émile Brahim hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Augustin Bergerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jean-François Louarn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geoffrey Rabiller kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Paul-Émile Brahim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Annequin's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Maertens came free, but Denis Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Annequin's Zinedine Cassin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-François Louarn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Football Club Rouen booed when Annequin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffrey Rabiller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Maertens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Denis Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Annequin's Zinedine Cassin got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augustin Bergerot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Augustin Bergerot made the kick off in the second half. Zinedine Cassin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Zinedine Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes of play, Annequin's Zinedine Cassin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-François Louarn was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 minutes, Darren Pioger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annequin and the Football Club Rouen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Dave Maertens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Annequin's Zinedine Cassin got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean-François Louarn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Bergerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute, Darren Pioger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Football Club Rouen defense, Augustin Bergerot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-François Louarn. The Football Club Rouen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-François Louarn should have stopped the shot. Annequin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
